The name Stone Jets encompasses the fusion of our different musical and social backgrounds. Together, they form an Acoustic Folk Rock style that has its tonal fingers in a lot of pies…however, one thing is certain; their live performances are a sight to see and a sound to be consumed by. With all said and done, it remains all about the music.

The group is made up of a diverse ensemble of accomplished musicians from interesting cultural and musical backgrounds. This lends itself to their Alternative Rock sound with hints of Jazz, Soul and Funk flavours enhanced by an Afro-American tang.

Nuka & the Fire is a contemporary fusion band from Cape Town, South Africa.
"We write from the heart and play from the soul. Our music shouldn’t really be boxed into the limits of any particular genre but the sound is heavily influenced by folk, blues, classic rock and jazz."

Sunday 30 March - Rob Thompson Blues Trio
Rob Thompson, blues rock guitarist/singer/song-writer, based in Cape Town, South Africa – and his band are all about playing good soulful blues rock music! The band has performed at a number of South African music festivals and various music venues thoughout the country, as well as a number of festivals, clubs and pubs on his USA debut tour in 2011.
Rob has great energy and sure knows how to play real blues rock music and keep it alive! Rob is achieving his dreams of reaching as many hearts as possible through his music! As for Rob’s live shows…he leaves audiences astounded.

Friday Nite LIVE! 04 April - Cameron Classen Trio
Instrumental artists, predominantly jazz.
Cameron, lead drummer has played alongside Barry van Zyl (Johnny Clegg's drummer) and sure knows a thing or two about adding a nice beat to the trio's tunes!
Saturday 05 April - The Maiden Voyage
The Maiden Voyage is Kate Morgan on keyboard and guitar and Lisa Triani on vocals. The two met and started playing together in the historical centre of Italy and then fulfilled their favourite maxim: 'When in Rome... go home! The Maidens now live and play in Cape Town and offer a multi-faceted set with jazz, classical, italiano, stories and songs... It's a journey!
Sunday 06 April - Matt Roux & Alan Evans
Matt Roux, accomplished singer and songwriter won the Barleycorn songwriters competition 2 years ago. He performs regularly at popular live music venues around the Western Cape. Matt has an energetic performance and this Sunday he will be sharing the stage with Alan Evans, another artist who has performed previously at Bay Harbour.
Friday Nite LIVE! 11 April - Shaun Jacobs
Shaun Jacobs appeared to come out of nowhere, his simple brand of sentimental rock filling the airwaves. His first single “With You” made 78 of the top 100 songs of the year on Highveld Stereo and KFM - just one of 16 South African acts to make it.
Released in 2012, Paper Wings is one of Shaun’s closest and most successful projects to date. His incredible voice resulted in a mass loyal following, easily recognisable for former fans and seemingly pleasing for new ones. He is fully involved in the process of making music, from composing his own songs and playing every instrument in the production, to doing his own mixing and producing in the studio.
Saturday 12 April - Anncod Zacarelli & Tobogo
Aancod Zaccarelli was born in England, adopted by a Japanese family, and spent his formative years in Israel, and South Korea. He is now a musician/busker as means to travel the world. Naturally, as a busker, Aancod's style of playing became more and more upbeat, and melodical over time.Tebogo Mokoena was born in Johannesburg. He has learnt to play the saxophone since when he was a child. Having played with with jazz groups, and many jams, some say he has mastered the art of improvisation.
Get ready for upbeat vibes on the KWV Sound Stage with their exceptional improv and mood capturing playing!

Elton Goslet guitar, Valentino Europa bass, Ricardo Simons drums.
This jazz fusion trio has many performances under their belt from festivals to venues around the Western Cape. They grace the KWV Sound Stage with some of their own material and proven standards in their repertoire.

Saturday 19 April - Isongo
Fusing all musical genres, guitar players Brian Kelly and Chris DuPlooy, the talented Mpumi Sizani, and the death defying drum skills of Mr Rosco Roscalz Arendse bring Afro Rock to another level!
The well honed production skills and session drumming/percussion input of Tim Rankin (Bed on Bricks) has added the extra dimension of studio recordings to the inspiring live performances making Isongo a phenomena remembered by all who experience it.
Sunday 20 April - Tracy-Lee Engel Trio
Tracy-Lee Engel is a pianist, vocalist and composer rooted in South African soil. Her music encompasses a fusion of Jazz, African and Classical influences. Her signature ranges from soothing, peaceful and contemplative melodies to upbeat rhythmic chants. With Valentino Europa playing bass guitar and Daniel Bloem on percussion this trio evokes the rich and diverse lanscape of the Cape through sound!
If you like the Blues, if you like deep Folk, and you like to groove, you will love seeing Kathy Raven and Jamie Jupiter onstage together. Kathy Raven is surely one of South Africa’s most prized female blues vocalists. Pair her up with Jamie Jupiter’s top notch harmonica playing and you’ll swear you’ve died and gone to blues heaven!
Kathy hails from Joburg and Jamie from Cape Town, when they get together their warm jovial stage presence brings joy and intimacy to every performance. Proudly South African they love playing on each others songs but are equally adept at breathing fresh life into timeless classics.

Heyfever is a unique young group that offers a blend of pop and folk with a bit of a twist. They met at Grahamstown Jazz Fest during their school years and are all now studying various degrees at UCT where they are honing their skills combining nearly 10 different instruments. Between the 5 of them, they offer an exciting performance that should get you tapping your feet.
Sunday 27 April - Omri Lee
A young, (still at school) 15-year-old, piano jazz musician who has been playing for over 6 years! His passion for writing and performing has taken over his life in a big way, making an impact in the jazz fusion scene. Fletcher, Fink, old school jazz have shaped his style - be sure to catch Omri work his magic on the KWV Sound Stage.
