Bay Harbour Market in Hout Bay is a celebration of the vibrancy, spirit and diversity of creativity and culture that make South Africa such a unique country.

It provides a uniquely­ social shopping and eating experience in an atmosphere which is friendly, vibrant and entertaining…. and, above all, distinctly South African!

It also serves as a platform for community­ building and upliftment by providing opportunities for the development of creative and business skills towards the creation of sustainable business.

Music and entertainment are part of the regular programme, from across the diverse South African spectrum.

The tenant and product mix focuses on a broad range of carefully ­selected art, craft, fashion and interior design, whilst also tantalising the taste buds with a wide array of exquisite fresh and prepared foods.

Traders themselves are the producers, providing the opportunity for them to engage directly with customers.

Our Vision is to make Bay Harbour Market a guaranteed destination on the itinerary of South African and International tourists to Cape Town, not to mention a regular social and shopping excursion for local Cape Town residents…this underpinned by a network of job­ creation activities coming from artistic endeavour and from the cultural environment.
